Karen E. Szuder, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 after a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 30, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Frank L. "Fritz" and Anna M. "Pivers" (Alex) Piwowarczyk. Karen worked as a registered nurse and a supervisor for 27 years at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where she was "affectionately" known as "The General". After working for NFMMC, she worked as a supervisor with the New York State Insurance Fund for 20 years, retiring in 2021.
