Katherine Gormley Cointment, age 83, passed away on November 24, 2023. Kay was born on October 17, 1940 in Vivian, Louisiana to Rose Ferguson Gormley and Richard Edward Gormley. She grew up in Leesville, Louisiana, attending Leesville High. She attended Louisiana State University, where she met her husband Joe, marrying in 1959. Together they enjoyed playing golf and duplicate bridge, traveling, particularly on cruises, and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and LSU Tigers.
