Rebecca Ruth Kolberg, age 64. On February 10, 2023, Rebecca died suddenly of cardiac arrest after a brief respiratory illness while vacationing in Florida. She had just retired from NIH as Chief and writer/editor of the Director's Presentation Branch and was still active in environmental and conservation issues.
