John Richard Sharp, 91, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, of causes incident to age. Richard was born on July 26, 1933, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Lennis Gill Sharp and Blanche Dora Johanson Sharp. His father, Lennis, passed away in 1934, and four years later, his mother married George Madsen. Richard graduated from Madison High School in 1951 and attended Ricks College for two years, where he met Diana Craven. The couple married in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 23, 1956, and together they raised four children: Kelly, Kirk, Jennifer, and Stephanie.
