Daniel Rector Malaise, age 70, of Lubbock, TX, passed away November 25, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas. Born in Odessa, TX on November 28, 1953, Dan was a remarkable young man with special needs. When he was very young in the 1950's, the doctors did not seem to have much hope that he would be able to care for himself as he became older, but they were wrong. Dan was in Special Education classes through high school and graduated from Odessa High School. He then moved to Lubbock where he went to the Lubbock State School and sheltered living where he learned how to care for himself, balance a checkbook, and cook. Robert Alexander Montgomery was born in 1924 to R.A. and Birdie Montgomery. He was the youngest of three brothers and one sister and grew up in Denison, Texas and was a Navy Veteran of World War Two. Robert attended one year in Austin College and three years at S.M.U. and graduated with a degree in Industrial Production Management in 1950. He married Avis Ann Powledge in 1949. He and Ann celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary in November 2018. Donald John Wallace III, 79, passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2021 with family by his side. He was born on May 17, 1941 to Jack and Doris Wallace in Houston, Texas. He moved to Albuquerque as young child where he learned to spell Albuquerque in first grade. His family appreciated this skill his whole life.
