David was born on April 15th, 1940 in Houston, TX to his beloved mother Elizabeth Stockton Deavers and father David Flinnoye Hopkins, Sr. His childhood was spent around the country before most of his formative years in Galveston, TX. Frances grew up in Brenham where she enjoyed small town life, dear friends, and an authentic, old-fashioned sense of community. Lee Roy Schilling, 92, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022, in Cedar Park, Texas. He was born in Winedale, Texas, and grew up in Greenvine, Texas. He was drafted into the United States Army and served in Korea. Lee Roy worked for 30 years in Austin for the Singer Sewing Machine Company as a salesman, store manager on Congress Avenue, in Capital Plaza and in Highland Mall and as district manager serving central and south Texas.
