Bertha "Bertie" Lenora Castilow Young went peacefully to her Eternal Home on the morning of February 18, 2022, exactly one month before her 95th birthday. She passed away not from the health hurdles she faced over the last few years - blood clots in her lungs, a widow maker heart attack, septic pneumonia, two rounds of COVID, a stroke, and a second heart attack - but simply from old age. Bertie was born on March 18, 1927 in Mexia, TX to Walter Lee Castilow and Eunice Pearl Smith Castilow.
