LUCAS FUNERAL HOME - HURST

Dr. Glenn E. Baker, Sr. went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2024. He was 89 years old. For 43 of those years, he practiced dentistry in Hurst. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Interment will be, Sunday, June 9, at 2PM in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Anson, Texas. Celebration of Life will be, Monday, June 10th at 2PM at First Baptist Hurst at 1801 Norwood. Evelyn Davis Nichols of Keller, Texas entered into her Eternal Home on Thursday, May 24, 2024. She was born October 1st, 1924 to Alfred Henry Davis and Cora Estelle Quarles Davis in Cedar Bluff, Alabama. She married James A Nichols on June 16th, 1946. Evelyn retired as Vice-President and Branch Manager of Bank of America after 45 years in banking. She was President of the National Association of Bank Women and President of Bank Administration Institute. She was a member of Floyd Medical Center Pink Ladies Auxiliary, member of Rome Symphony Auxiliary, and Salvation Army Auxiliary.
