Bobby Glynn Williams, Sr., age 89, of Brady, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Brownwood. Bobby was born on March 27, 1936, in Mont Belvieu, Texas, to Coleman Edward Williams and Emma (Kidd) Williams. He grew up in Midland and on the coast. He entered the U.S. Army at age 17 and served 11 years. He married Cecil Pauline Kelley on March 30, 1962, in Midland. He attended Midland College where he earned his associate's degree. After his honorable discharge from the US Army, he joined the Midland Police Department, where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He moved to Brady in 2000. Carol was born September 5, 1937 in McAllen, Texas to James Noble and Juanita (Martin)Noble. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio. She attended Southwest Texas State University where she earned her B.S. and master's degree in education. She married Ronnie Gene Gassiot on July 30, 1960, in San Antonio.
