Margie was born to parents Charles and Edna Tanksley on January 11, 1947, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Margie and her siblings had an idyllic childhood growing up on a farm, where she learned the meaning of hard work. Margie graduated from Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Arkansas in 1965. Margie married Vernon Owen Clark in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 5, 1985. After high school, she worked in various fields- including hospitality, real estate and selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. Judyth Ann Todd Hovack went to be with our Lord Sunday morning, November 5, 2023, at the age of 84, following an aggressive year of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born to parents, Frank M. Jenkins and Edna Stark Jenkins in Marshalltown, Iowa on October 4,1939. Judy worked for the Dahlstrom Corp. and the Texas Highway Department where she retired after 23 years. Judy has resided in Irving, Texas since 1952. She attended Mountain View College and Elcentro College and graduated with an associate degree. Jack Newton Carnell, 95, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at his home. Jack was born on August 7, 1928, in Lubbock, Texas to Nadene and William Carnell. Growing up, despite being hit by a school bus at age 11, he played basketball, football, and baseball at Cooper High School in Lubbock. His greatest love was baseball and, up to the day he passed, he patiently watched almost every Texas Rangers game. Following high school, Jack attended Texas Tech University. Ilene Ashworth was born Mary Ilene Veyon on August 5, 1931, in Grafton, WV, to Arthur & Mae Veyon. She always loved her "Almost Heaven, West Virginia" and the fond memories of her childhood. A life-long member of the Church of Christ, she met her future husband, Ray Ashworth, as a teenager at a church revival. Several years later, on July 4, 1952, she married Ray in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was stationed in the US Army. Mary Helen Mullins Oberlin went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, with her family by her side. Mary was born on a farm in Merigold, Mississippi on October 13, 1925, to Harra and Gertie Mullins. She went on to graduate from Mississippi Women's University with a Bachelors in Science. During her postgraduate work in Public Health at the University of North Carolina, she met the love of her life, Donald L. Oberlin. They were married August 31, 1952, in Merigold and God blessed the two of them with a long and happy marriage of 68 years at the time of her beloved husband, Don, passing April 23, 2021. Howard Walter Block of Irving passed away July 17, 2023 at Baylor Hospital in Irving Texas. Howard was born January 20, 1941 in Bridgeport, CT to Emil and Dorothy Anderson Block - the 5th of 6 children. The family came to Arlington, Texas in 1947 when his dad moved with Vought Aircraft. Howard attended Arlington Public schools and UTA, and due to his love of planes, he took flying lessons - wanted to be in the Air Force. This interest led to his primary career as an engineer who worked many years for Vought Aircraft as a tool designer. He also ran his own sign business in Irving for a while.
