Bobbie Jean Boone passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born November 26, 1946 in Inez, Texas to the late Ollie Franklin, Jr. and Tiny Franklin. Bobbie resided in Victoria for over 50 years and she was an active member of the North Heights Church of Christ. She was the President, Chaplain, and member of the Alpha Delta Kappa District IV Epsilon Zeta Chapter. She was a teacher at Dudley Elementary School where she was awarded Teacher of the Year. Dale Wayne Matula, age 62, passed away peacefully Friday, November 10, 2023. Dale was born October 25, 1961 in Victoria, Texas to George and Shirley (Johnson) Matula. He was a 1980 graduate of Stroman High School. He was a lifelong resident of Victoria and was a Catholic. Dale enjoyed having a good time with friends and loved listening to good music, live bands, and dancing. He loved going to Wurstfest, Oysterfest, and Turkeyfest events. He was a big fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys as well as the Seattle Seahawks. He rarely missed any of their games.
