Frank Allen Smith was born on September 6, 1938, in Mercedes, TX to Frank and Olive Smith of Elsa, TX. He graduated from Edcouch - Elsa High School in 1957 where he excelled in football earning the nickname "El Toro" for his fierce running style from the fullback position. He was selected for multiple All District, All South Texas and All State honors over his high school career. Sherian Kay Hardin, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, on November 25th, 2023, and now is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
