Born November 25, 1939 in Dallas, Texas; died July 5, 2018 in Ennis, Texas. Denne was a 1962 Graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at WestPoint, New York, Vietnam Veteran, Sons of Confederate Veterans member, and longtime aficionado of the local Celtic Music and Irish Wolfhound communities. The memorial service will be held at Jayne's Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, November 1st at 11am with inurnment to follow at the DFW National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas.

Vivian Varian passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 91. Born Vivian Rose Muir in 1932, daughter of J. Lawrence and Hazel Muir (Munhall) in Enid, Oklahoma, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1954. Vivian married Leo C. Varian and lived in Dallas, then Little Rock, Arkansas and Skokie, Illinois, before settling down in Duncanville, Texas to raise their family. Vivian was an active volunteer in the community with her church, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and in the PTA. She was raised in a loving home with two wonderful sisters. She graduated from South High School in Denver, Colorado. She met her husband, Charles B. Hodge, from Byrd, Texas on her first day at Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas where he proceeded to "take her off the market". He was born July 19, 1945, in Ennis, Texas to James Lloyd Taylor, Sr. and Beatrice Ione Goodman. Jim was a 1963 graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas and attended Arlington State College.
