CE Grant, age 88, of Muleshoe, Texas died Sunday, January 8, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born March 8, 1934 in Gatesville, Texas to Cullen Edward and Maud Eliza Pierce Grant. CE was the youngest of nine siblings. He graduated from high school and was drafted into the army. He was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where he served as a forward artillery observer from 1955 to 1957. After he was discharged, CE worked for Moss-Gordin Lint Cleaner Company. He traveled all over the western United States installing the first lint cleaners in various cotton gins.
