Missie Lanham was born Martha Gough Brooks on January 12, 1936 to Marcellus Smith "Sallie" Brooks and Eldon Claire Gough Brooks in Waco, Texas. She died on April 11, 2025 in Temple, Texas. She attended Christian College, Southern Methodist University, and Baylor University where she received her undergraduate degree in Education. She received her Masters Degree from the University of Texas in Austin in Special Education. After graduating from Mission High School in 2002, she went on to Texas State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and met her future husband, Eloy Sifuentez. After graduation, she began her career at Dell Technologies, where she remained employed until her final days. Heather lived life to its fullest. Basil Attal Sr. of Austin, Texas passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 88 at his residence, the Enclave of Cedar Park. Mr. Attal was born in Austin, Texas in 1932 to Wolfred and Martha Attal. Basil was one of four children. He attended St. Mary's Cathedral and later graduated from Austin High School as Vice President of his senior class. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and he served during the Korean War as a seaman. Samuel Willis Tucker Lanham, III was born in Waco, Texas on March 6, 1932, the first child of Samuel W. T. Lanham, II and Eugenia Nash Lanham. His great-grandfather, whose name he carried, served as Governor of Texas from 1903-1907. Sam died at home in Salado, Texas on November 29, 2020. Sam met his wife, Martha "Missie" Lanham in 1955 at the Ridgewood Country Club pool, where he was a lifeguard. He drove her home that afternoon, and she knew she had just met the man she would marry.
