Carey Albert Kinney, 84, of Glade Hill, VA was called home by his Heavenly Father on January 9, 2022. He was born March 17, 1937, in Wilson, North Carolina to Albert Beecher Kinney and Lillie (Ward) Kinney. Carey attended Charles L. Coon High School in Wilson, NC. He proudly followed in his father's footsteps continuing his education at North Carolina State University and graduated in 1960 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Carey moved to Northern Virginia and began a 37-year career working to solve energy problems for the United States Government.
