Florence Elaine (Miller) Schmitt, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024. Florence was born on July 15, 1931 in Scott Township, WI to William Dewey Miller and Mary "Mae" Alvine (Gustrowsky) Miller. Florence graduated from Cambria High School in 1949. She was a 1951 graduate of Columbia County Normal Teachers College, Columbus, WI. Florence met her husband, Robert Schmitt, at teachers' college and they were married on June 16, 1952 in the "Little Brown Church in the Vale" Nashua, Iowa. Patricia L. "Pat" Kluetzman, age 95, died on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Argonne the daughter of John and Pearl (Albrecht) Emerson. Pat was married to Milton Kluetzman on March 12, 1948 in Argonne and together raised six children on the family farm. She was employed as an aid at Columbus Community Hospital for many years and was a school bus driver for 23 years. Pat also worked at canning companies in Columbus and Sun Prairie. Her extensive traveling with her husband included Las Vegas, Hawaii and Australia to attend their former AFS student Allison Micallef Webb's wedding.
