NORTHAMPTON - Rev. John A. Dusenberry, 93, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Born on April 21, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Donald and Lillian (Weston) Dusenberry. John grew up near Salem, Ohio within a family of strong Christian faith and surrounded by music with both his parents being musicians. There he developed his love of music and desire to devote his life to ministry. Mary was born in Greenfield on June 23, 1965 and spent most of her life in Franklin County, apart from a brief time in her youth in Island Pond, Vermont before returning to the area in the mid -1980's and ultimately living out her final years in the family home on Barton Road. Laura M. Wood, 39, died in Colrain on March 20, 2021. She was born in Greenfield on January 31, 1982 and lived in the hill towns most of her life. She was a PCA for the same client for many years. Her love of animals was undeniable; she had 2 dogs and 6 cats that were very spoiled. Her dog Grizzly was almost always by her side. Her love of the outdoors kept her hiking, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, 4-wheeling or sunbathing. She loved crime shows and when she was watching tv it was probably Criminal Minds or CSI reruns. He was a 1981 graduate of Pioneer Valley Regional High School in Northfield. Charles was a self-employed mechanic for several years. Previously, he had worked at the former Herm's Restaurant. Carol G. Jones passed away on Tuesday (01-05-2021) at the age of 81. An inquisitive, sweet, kind and thoughtful person, daughter of Russell and Glennis (Cooley) Jones and sister of Marilyn, who all predecease her. She was a long time resident of the family house on Conway Street. Since no one in the household ever owned a car or had a driver's license, on any given weekend Carol would load up her day pack with her field guide, binoculars and a sweet snack and the day's adventure would start as soon as she stepped out the front door.
