Elizabeth Ann (Stewardson) Barker, age 93, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at her home peacefully surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born on October 19, 1928, in Shields in Coleman County to Hardy Ellis Stewardson and Birdie (Barton) Stewardson. Elizabeth married Marlis Ceburn Barker on October 4, 1952, in San Saba, Texas. They were members of San Saba's First Baptist Church. She worked as a secretary and receptionist early in life. She enjoyed going out to eat and having coffee with friends several times a week. Elizabeth welcomed family visits any time to her very well-kept home.
