Richard A. Prosper of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away on December 28, 2023. He was 83. Richard proudly worked as a plumber with Local 51 for many years before retiring. He enjoyed camping with family and more recently could be found doing puzzles, putzing in the yard, and building bird houses in his "shop". Richard was devoted to his weekly dinner outings with Bevalie and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Richard P. Gay of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 14, 2023. He was 87. Dick took great pride in maintaining not only his lawn but the lawns of loved ones around him. He could also be found gardening and fixing any item placed on his beloved bench. In the early days he enjoyed sailing, skiing, and riding his motorcycle. William G. Hooper, Jr., of Bridgewater, passed away on December 8, 2023. He was 72. Bill grew up in Lexington, enjoyed 25 years raising his family in Harwich and has been residing in Bridgewater for almost 8 years. Bill majored in Forestry at UNH and went on to have a successful career in The National Park Service for 33 years as a Park Ranger and Special Agent. He finished his career at Cape Cod National Seashore, which brought him back to his home state and the park he deeply loved.
