Professor Howard Martin Rebach, 88, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Peregrine Senior Living. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Mary Rebach. Born in Brooklyn New York but raised in Washington DC, he always considered himself a DC native and delighted in showing others around the city. Howard knew he wanted to be a college professor from the very first time he stepped in front of a class as an adjunct professor. By the time he retired as a full professor from the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at the end of the 2015 spring semester, he had achieved that goal.
