Brownie Price Newton, 77, passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2023, in Richardson, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1946, in Dalton, Georgia to John E. Price, Jr. and Martha Rice Price. Brownie was raised in Houston, Texas and attended Poe Elementary, Lanier Junior High and Lamar High School. She attended Stephen's College in Columbia, Missouri. She married Tom Newton on July 19, 1973, and together they raised three sons in Houston, Texas. Brownie moved to Richardson, Texas in 2008 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
