Brian R. Hayes age 56 of McKean passed away on April, 2 2023 at home with his partner and daughter by his side after a 3 year courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. He was born on February 7, 1967 in Erie, Pa to Richard and Dorothy (Weyeneth) Hayes of Albion, Pa. He graduated from Northwestern high school in 1985. He last worked at Meadow brook dairy in Erie until the plant closed. Brian enjoyed watching nascar and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He loved being outside and doing things like hunting, fishing and traveling. He was well known for his humor and quick whit and love for scratch off loto. Lydia Ann Newman Ritchie Lydia Ritchie, age 93 of Girard, Pa. was called home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023 at home with friends and family by her side. Lydia was born on April 20, 1929, in Tyrone, Pa. She was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Stonebraker) Kochera. Lydia worked for many years at the GE Resistor Co. as a telephone operator. She was a member of the West Springfield United Methodist Church where she was instrumental in helping with church dinners and the after school program with the kids.
