Susan Eileen Jacobson, mother of her daughter Blaire Ellis Bennett and her recently deceased son Blake Robert Bennett, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Susan was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1964 and joined the family of her mother Jayne, her father Ben, and her brother Ben, Jr. Susan grew up in Danville, Kentucky, and graduated from Venice High School where she made lifelong friends. She worked for Ned Davis Research for almost thirty years. During the past few years Susan suffered from the loss of her son and from orthopedic injuries. Leonard James (Jim) Vernon passed away June 12, 2023 at the age of 81. Jim was born on September 9, 1941 in Wauchula, Florida where he grew up. He spent his adult life working for Smally, Welford & Nalven and Boyle Engineering in Sarasota. He is survived by his wife Betty, sons Don Bouchard (Natalie), Mike Bouchard (Karma Gilchrist), daughter Carey Beychok, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his brother Jack Vernon (Lynn). Craig L. Miller, Sr., 77, of Sarasota, passed away on May 8, 2023. Craig was predeceased by his father, Wilbur L. Miller; mother, Rena Miller; and daughter, Cynthia P. Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara C. Miller; two sons, Craig L. (Robin) Miller, Jr. and Cary A. (Kelly) Miller; two grandchildren, Michael R. Miller and Rachel I. Miller; and brother, Terry L. (Penny) Miller. A celebration of Craig's life will be held at a later date. Patsy was born November 20, 1934 in Ellicott City Maryland. She attended St Paul's Parochial School and after graduation from Ellicott City High School, moved to Melbourne Florida. Patsy was an Executive Secretary at Pan American World Airways, Patrick Air Force Base. After Moving to Sarasota in 1962, Pat started her career as a Bartender at venues including the Forum at Sarasota Lanes, The Loft, The Grog Shop and Rendezvous Lounge.
