Marshall Bookman Peters, known as Bookman to friends and colleagues, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was raised in Navasota and at the age of 11, his family moved to Bryan. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1951, Bookman attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree where he made lasting friendships and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. She was kind, loving, and dependable with a willingness to help others. She was a parts clerk for Boeing Aircraft, loved to read, assemble jigsaw puzzles, and watch Survivor, but her favorite past-time was spending time with family; her love of family was evident as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother. Danny (as he was best known) was born in Sweetwater, Texas on August 27, 1956, to Bonnie and Clyde Jay.
