Jose "Joe" Vega 86, was called up to heaven on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance. Joe joins his loving wife of 59 years Aurora (Gora) G. Vega whom he missed immensely. Joe was born in Edinburg, Texas on March 19, 1938 to the late Guadalupe Vega, Sr, and Cristina Guillen Vega. He was one of 12 children. He attended Edinburg CISD. Growing up humbly on the family farm he learned to appreciate the simple things in life. He loved the ranch life and spent most weekends at his in-law's little ranch working alongside this father in-law Amado O.
