Anna Maria Lopez was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas to Francisco O Lopez and Noemi Sanchez Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Amanda Lopez. She attended Milam and Hays Elementary, Crockett Jr High and Odessa High School. Anna was a quiet, patient, loving person. She was family oriented, loved reading, drawing, and cooking. She had a deep faith in God and shared her faith with others thru her door to door witnessing. She is one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jessie Alex Chavez, 51, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Jessie was born and raised in Odessa, TX., where as a child he enjoyed playing basketball and football. Later he became a dedicated Dallas Cowboys, Texas Ranger and Spurs fan. Later Jessie joined the NAVY on June 6, 1999, in Chicago, Illinois Great Lakes. Jessie, then transferred to Aircraft College in Pensacola, Florida as a student for structure and hydraulics. Jessie was then stationed at Virginia, West Virginia Oceana NAS VF-101, as a F-14 Tomcat Faudree Squadron, the largest Squadron in the world. There he launched F14's daily. Charles William Caroll, 69, left us Friday, February 24, 2023 in Odessa, TX. He was born to Edward Caroll and Warrine " Reanne Christie Carroll of San Angelo, Texas on December 6, 1953. He is survived by his loving wife Anita H. Carroll and his daughter Michelle Carroll, sons Charley, Michael, Dillon and Timothy Carroll, 7 grandchildren and one granddaughter. He will be missed dearly. Services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at La Paz Funeral Home from 12 - 9 pm and he will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Friday, March 3 at 1:00 PM.
