Mrs. McGinnis was born in Rome, GA on May 3, 1929, daughter of the late John Bennett, and the late Lillie Mae Fowler Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Lester "Buster" McGinnis, Jr.; and her siblings, J.B. Bennett, Bobby Bennett, Jimmy Benett, and Myra Kelly.
