Mrs. Kathleen Pope Mead, age 100 of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away Saturday July 17, 2021. Mrs. Mead was born October 15, 1920 in Steadman, Georgia to the late Thomas N. & Margaret Tanner Pope and was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Howard N. Mead, her brother, Cyrus E. Pope, and her sister, Mildred P. Counts. Surviving are her sons Howard N. Mead and Donald M. Mead, both of Atlanta. Interment, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, Mars Hill Cemetery, Cleburne County, Alabama. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bobby Howard Puckett age 85 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away Sunday June 6, 2021. Mr. Puckett was born March 19, 1936 in Polk County to the late Dee and Nellie Carroll Puckett, and was also preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Cade Cobb Puckett. Bobby was retired form General Motors Lakewood Plant after many years of service. Bobby enjoyed life, gardening and worked on small engines but most of all he loved his family and his many friends. He was born in West Palm Beach, Fl., to John & Iola Summerville Lowe, and a graduate of Temple University. It was satisfying to him as a political appointee, that he maintained his position as Asst. Edna Lillian Womack age 95 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Saturday October 17, 2020. Edna Lillian Vaughn Womack was born on August 18, 1925, in the small town of Eden, Alabama. The daughter of L.V. Vaughn and Bennie Ruth Perry Vaughn, Edna was an only child but grew up with several aunts and uncles. After her father deserted the family, she and her mother some how survived. She grew up in Rockmart, Georgia and attend Rockmart High School. While her mother worked second shift at Goodyear Mill she learned to care for herself alone. Catherine Parrish Sutton was born on May 29, 1919 to Grover C. and Eunice Barrett Parrish in Cedartown, where she lived all 101 years of her life.
