Richard C. Bremer, 92, of Rome, NY and formerly of Utica died March 17, 2023. He was born April 13, 1930, in Utica, son of the late Merritt, Sr. and Esthyr Filkins Bremer and graduated from Utica College in 1952. Richard served in the US Navy from 1952-1954. He married Marilyn Barry, November 17, 1951, in Utica. Richard was self employed and operated Central NY Hearing Services. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his children Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Boehlert, Richard (Holly Barnes) Bremer, David (Hyeun ju) Bremer, and James (Patricia) Bremer, 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Darlene F. DelMonico age 68, of Boonville died Friday, August 26, 2022 at home. She was born July 19, 1954 in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late William and the late Frances (Olmstead) Girvan. She served in the Army from 1974 to 1975. She married Ernest C. DelMonico, Nov 25, 1978. He predeceased her in October 6, 2009. She was worked as a Certified Nurses Aide. She loved cooking, baking, gardening and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.
