Evia Mae Kunkel, age 74 of Burnet passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. She was born July 3, 1947, in Kerrville to Thurman Rubin Culp and Cellia Elvinna Culp. Because her parents lived and worked in many parts of the state Evia grew up all around Texas. Later she married Miniard Alfred Kunkel on January 22, 1966 in Gatesville. Burnet is where she decided to settle down and raise her family. She dedicated her life to her husband, children and granddaughters. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and being a nanny to many neighborhood children. Evia is survived by her children Miniard DeWayne Kunkel, Elisha Helton and husband Thomas and Melissa Reyes and husband William. Also...
