Elizabeth "Betty" Hofmann, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, in Shelbyville, Indiana, on Friday, April 15, 2022. She was born on April 10, 1941 in Indianapolis to Frank and Elizabeth Gootee. Betty was a 1959 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School and a 1996 graduate from Ivy Tech Community College. She worked at Gringo's Taco House as a manager, System Builders as their office manager, and retired from Community Hospital North in the Med Surge Unit as an LPN. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, David A.
