Aida Llanas Smith, 101, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2021 in Frisco, TX. She was born on September 20, 1920 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Gabriel C. and Rosa Gutierrez Llanas. Aida met her husband, Earl, when he was assigned to the Naval Air Station - Corpus Christi. They were married at St. Theresa's Catholic Church on June 6, 1950 in Corpus Christi. After their youngest child entered first grade, Aida returned to work at the City of Corpus Christi Building Division where she worked prior to marrying Earl.
