She was born on Thursday, August 18, 1938, in Albion, MI the daughter of the late Guy Victor "Vick" Christopher and Emily Elizabeth Clawson Christopher. Susan graduated from Alfred University with a BS in Nursing. Susan worked in pediatrics and newborn nursery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Robert "Bob" William Sowers, 84, of Zanesville, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born March 7, 1939, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Harold L. and Antoinette Sowers. He proudly served his country in the Ohio Army National Guard. In 1960, Bob moved to Columbus, Ohio and met Lee and Lynn Ripley who welcomed him into their family. Bob was an electrician by trade, entrepreneur, and part owner of Yagco Inc. Bob also lived in California for 46 years. He was born on December 17, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio to Jess and Marie (Anderson) Waymer.
