Joan Langness (Gilbertson), of Bloomington, earned her angel wings on February 17, 2024. Joan was born on July 22, 1954, in Hudson, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Nina (Lyksett) Gilbertson. She was raised in Hudson, graduating from Hudson High School in the class of 1972. She took great pride that she was homecoming queen in her senior year. Furthering her education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, Joan ultimately earned her Associates of Arts degree from Normandale Community College. Bill was born on September 29, 1975, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota, the son of William Joseph Sr. and Margaret Sue (Mullen) Markert.
