Robin Gail Sagen (Johnson), age 63, passed away peacefully in Byron, IL. on October 14th, 2022 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born March 28th, 1959, the daughter of John Kenneth Johnson and Shirley Copus Johnson. She married her high school sweetheart Hal Walter Strampe in 1975 and later found love again when she married her best friend James "Jim" Leroy Sagen in 1992. As a member of the Wisconsin AQHA, she spent time raising and showing quarter horses. He was born in Waukon, Iowa on May 29, 1935, the son of Wesley and Ellen (Vangen) Duvel. On June 18, 1960, he married Mary Jane Dhein. Wayne graduated from Lakeland College and earned his Masters in education at UW-Superior. He worked for 35 years at Racine Unified School District and 3 years previous in Algoma, WI. James Doc Carter passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2021, surrounded by his family at his home in Richland Center, WI. He was born on December 26, 1933 to Effie Myrtle (Jenkins) and Oscar Carter in La Harpe, Illinois. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Vicki Ramona Carter, on December 26, 1954, at Durham Church. He was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, on Nov. 28, 1944 to Harold and Jean (Hoppe) Johnson. He was a graduate of Lake Mills High School where he exceled in all athletics, especially baseball. He married Mary Ann Meitner on Oct. 16, 1965, in Waterloo, Wisconsin. He spent most of his working life at Chrysler's Belvidere, Illinois, production plant, retiring after 30 years.
