Patsy Dee Beneventi (nee Carlock) of Lockport, age 86, passed away peacefully at Silver Cross hospital on Monday June 21, 2021 while surrounded by her family. Born August 28th, 1934 in Fairmont, IL to Edward (Shorty) and Agnes Carlock. She attended Lockport High School where she participated in many sports and activities. Patsy was a great cheerleader for Lockport High, as well as a gymnast. She also loved bowling, golfing, and swimming. After graduation she married John A. Beneventi on May 8, 1954, and had two children. John served in the US army and served in the Korean war. Janice Carol Royce 04/14/1949-06/14/2021 Janice Carol Royce (nee Shipley), age 72, passed away in Naperville, Illinois on June 14, 2021, after a long illness. Originally from New Tazewell, Tennessee, she was a resident of Romeoville, Illinois since 1974. While Janice was primarily a homemaker, she previously worked for 13 years for Award Emblem in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She was voracious reader and loved animals.
