Our dear mother and grandmother, Dianne Carol Sudnik Konzelman, 85, sadly passed away suddenly on May 21, 2022 at her home in Chevy Chase, MD. Dianne was predeceased by her sister Joan Sudnik in 2013, her mother Caroline Dendor Sudnik, in 1989, and her father Alexander Sudnik in 1975. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Jill Dombrowski, son-in-law Dr. John F. Dombrowski, grandson Michael Dombrowski, granddaughter Carolyn Lange and Carolyn's husband Jared Lange, and great-granddaughter Sophia Lange. Dorayne Grace Heyler, 74, of Adelphi, Maryland passed away on Saturday, April 9 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD from complications following surgery. Dorayne was born in Lewes, Delaware on March 17,1948 to Dorothy and Romayn Heyler. Upon graduating with honors from Claymont High School in Claymont, DE in 1966, she majored in English at the University of Delaware and taught under-privileged teens in the Boston area for the U.S. Job Corps. She raised two children with her first spouse, Mark Osborne, in Maryland, where she later earned a degree in nursing from Montgomery College and served as a dedicated school nurse until retirement. Chandler Lee van Orman, 80, of Washington, DC and Ogunquit, Maine, passed away on May 10, 2021, surrounded by loved ones, including his stepson, Howard, daughter, Robin, and the love of his life, his wife Betsy, who was by his side for the last 22 years. Born in Chicago, January 15, 1941, to Marine Colonel Ellsworth George and Mary Elizabeth Chandler van Orman, the happiest times of Chandler's early life were spent surfing in La Jolla, CA.
