LaVerne (Hein) Chollett, 87, passed away on June 11, 2022, after battling health complications. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, June 17. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday June 18; both will be at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, TX. Following the services, LaVerne will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery, also in Somerville.

The Reverend Boyd Quin Faust, age 78, died on May 23, 2022. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 12:00 pm Noon, Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his former parish, St. John's Lutheran Church, 2609 FM 60, Deanville, TX 77852. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Boyd is survived by his loving wife, Gabrielle Crowe; stepsons Robert Crowe (wife Roxanna Sibrian), and Dwight Crowe; granddaughter Aleena Crowe; and many wonderful friends.
