John L. Albert, age 83, pass away on September 28, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. John was born to John S. and Helen I. Decker Albert in 1942. He graduated from Green High School in 1962. John attended Ohio University where he received his BSED in 1966 and his MS in 1968. He also met his wife, Sarah L. Mosser, at Ohio University. John and Sarah were married in 1965. John worked at Parkersburg Catholic High School, St. Joseph's Prep Seminary, Bloom-Carroll High School, Licking Valley High School, and Lancaster City Schools where he finished his teaching career in 2003. Ronald Lee Hord, age 86, of Lewis Center, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in the fall but had been in declining health in recent years.
