Dr. Glen Ray Martin, 93, Bullock, passed away October 23, 2022, from cancer at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. He was born February 9, 1929, to Stephen and Elizabeth Martin of Flat Rock, Illinois. Survivors include his wife Carol Martin (nee Parrish), daughters Lynda Cramer, Cynthia Shahed, Julie High, Kolina Edwards (Keith), Kristie Whitney (David), son Kevin Martin (Lihua), and daughter-in-law Deloris Easley. Catherine Meta Haskins Wilson, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital. Catherine was born on August 24, 1937 in Lee County to the late Paul Haskins and Fannie Bell Bullock. There are no services planned at this time. Survivors include three daughters, Dianne Dixon (Randy), Cheryl DeBurkarte (Darrell) and Tracy Merritt (Jon); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Stallings; one sister, Doris Harris and two brothers, John Lewis Haskins and Calvin Haskins. Donald retired from John Umstead Hospital with twenty-five years of service as a carpenter. He enjoyed farming and hunting with his grandson, Justin. Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Howell Briggs and Isabel Ford Briggs. She was a longtime member of Mt.
