Kathy Houghton of Orlando, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2023 from Liver Cancer. Kathy was born at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on April 5, 1951. Raised in Braintree, she was a 1969 graduate of Braintree High School and Bridgewater State College, Class of 1973. After graduation, she worked for the Thayer Public Library in the Children's Department. After the Blizzard of 1978, Kathy moved to Atlanta Georgia where she was employed by JC Penny for 5 years and 5 years at the Southeastern Library Network. He was born on December 4, 1947 in Norfolk, VA where he grew up briefly before moving to Hamlet, NC and Dayton Beach, FL before settling in Central Florida after his service in the Vietnam War, where he served four tours as a Sergeant for the Army 101st Airborne Division/ 42nd Scout Dog Platoon. Arthur (Art) Lessard Phenis II was born September 12, 1952 to Lillian (Diamond) Ehrke and Arthur Phenis in Battle Creek, MI. He died May 14, 2021, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL after a brief illness.
