(Whitey) and Bobbie Ruth (Craighead) White. After high school graduation, Susan attended North Texas State University and Arizona State University, receiving bachelor's and master's degrees in Theatre (design). Betty June Lackey Slate Wright Howell, age 78, passed away on February 26, 2022 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on January 7, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to her parents, Louetta and Harry Lackey, Sr. Betty was raised in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas where she graduated from W.H. Adamson in 1962. She married Dione Howell in 1994. She was a claims processor for Travelers Insurance for 20 years. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Dione Howell and son, Alan Slate. She is survived by brothers, Harry and James Lackey and sister, Mary Weseman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty's passions were needle crafts, being outside and animals.

Howard Frederick Mureen, 97, passed away on January 10, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 17, 1924 in Galesburg, Illinois to Elof and Ruth Mureen. Howard was raised in Galesburg, Illinois and went to serve as a Sargent in the Army as a radio repairman during WWII from March 15, 1943 to January 4, 1946. After returning from war, Howard received his Electrical Engineering Degree from Chicago Tech. He married Beebe Bonalyn Kelley in 1949 and the couple had two children.
