Dorothy Ann Carter Brown was born in Dallas, Texas on March 8th, 1929 to Willam Tyler Carter and Nora Cassida Whitesides Carter. She passed away in Grapevine, Texas on July 26th, 2024. After graduating high school in Dallas TX, Dorothy raised her two sons as a single parent along with caring for her parents. She was employed as a graphic artist for Sears and Marshall Field department stores. After retiring from Sears and moving to Denton, Texas she enjoyed many years volunteering, and socializing at the Denton Senior Center. She coordinated donations from Kroger Foods to be distributed at the senior center, enjoyed playing on chair volleyball teams, and making popcorn for movie nights....
