Patti Murphy, 70, of Meriden, died Monday, June 7, 2021, at the MidState Medical Center. The daughter of the late Joseph E. Murphy, Jr., and Shirley (Ivers) Murphy, Patti graduated from Platt High School and was a proud life-time resident of Meriden. She enjoyed serving Meriden in numerous ways, including serving on the School Building Committee for 26 years and counting ballots in elections, and she had many friends throughout the city. In 1981, after working at Northeast Utilities for several years, Patti found her professional home at the law firm of Shipman & Goodman in Hartford.
