A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the LDS church house located at 309 S Main St, Providence, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church. An additional viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. Richard "Rick" Peter Gerber, a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, and beloved husband, father, and grandfather, returned peacefully to his Heavenly Parents after a miracle-filled battle with cancer. Mr. Ray Howser, 94, of Nibley, Utah passed away peacefully at his home on January 24, 2026. Born on May 01, 1931 in Port Angeles WA to Jack and Aila Howser. He was raised in Port Townsend WA till after WWII when his family moved to Los Angeles where he attended high school and he developed an interest in ghost towns and antique arms. He joined the Army during the Korean War where he served ably as an ordnance man. Discharged from the army, he entered the occupation of his dreams.
