Elizabeth "Lisa" Moore Karrick left the earthly realm peacefully on March 25, 2021 in the company of her daughters. Daughter of the late David B. Karrick, Sr., former Commissioner of Health and Welfare of Washington, D.C., and Elizabeth deBlasiis Karrick, concert cellist, Lisa was born in Washington, D.C. on January 2, 1945. She grew up in Washington's Kalorama neighborhood, where she played with her friends at Mitchell Park and attended the Potomac School. Adams Sherman Hill, M.D., of Concord, MA, passed away January 7, 2021, at home. He is survived by his wife Judith Morris Hill, daughter Martha Hill McNiff, Sunapee, NH, and granddaughters Laura Gibson, Leigh Gibson, Paige Gibson, Amy Gibson, and Addy McNiff. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Lipp, Ft. Collins, CO, and his adult daughter Alison Hill. He was born on December 11, 1927, in Boston, MA spending his youth in nearby Cambridge, where he attended Shady Hill School. John McKay, Pete to those who knew him, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020 at the age of 93 from complications due to COVID-19. Pete was born on a dairy farm in Caledonia, NY in 1927 to parents Loretta and John McKay. Too young to fight in WWII, he joined the Merchant Marine instead and later served in the Army during the Korean War. He spent the majority of his career in sales, first selling magazines then BernzOmatic blow torches (once lighting Liberace's candelabra with a torch during a convention), and later construction equipment and services.
