Carol Ann Miller, 87, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her beloved family, on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Wauneta Mae (Raine) Spangler; son, Jack C. Miller, II. and grandson, Corey Rutherford. She was a 1955 graduate of Salt Creek Township High School. She worked several jobs but was the most proud of helping her son run the office at S. M. Miller Construction Company. Carol enjoyed gardening along with working as a Docent at the Columbus Zoo for many years and spending time at Lake Erie. John W. Parrett, Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born July 24, 1939 in Circleville, Ohio and moved to Columbus in 1983. John retired from Franklin County Engineers in 2002. He was a member of Buckeye Classic Cruisers and Knights of Phythias in Harrisburg, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents John and Ada Parrett; beloved wife, Grace; and brothers, Richard and David. Charles William "Charlie" Baxter, 90, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born November 20, 1930 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles Joseph and Alice (Clark) Baxter. He was proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War. Charlie was a teacher and coach for 35 years in the Logan Elm and Teays Valley school districts. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post #134. He loved to golf and enjoyed all sports.
