Ronald Peter Sienkowski, (82), of Port Charlotte Florida, passed away on Jan 18, 2023. Ronald, fondly known as Ron, was born to John and Olive Sienkowski, on November 4, 1940, in Norwich CT. Ron is survived by his wife Barbara, and two children, Debra, (56), of Venice, FL, and Michael, (53), of Marin County, CA. Service and burial will be held by the family in the spring of 2023 in Norwich CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or the donor's charity of choice

Lorraine Frances Agens, 94, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away into the arms of her Lord, Monday January 9, 2023. She was born December 28, 1928 in Chicago, IL. Lorraine worked as a claims examiner with Hartford Insurance and was also a tax accountant. She moved to Punta Gorda with her husband, Stanley, in 1987 from Chicago. Stanley preceded her in death. They traveled many years throughout the United States. She also enjoyed the many cruises. Lorraine and Peter Prior were "Married in the eyes of God" in 2017. Mary Isabelle Bennett Moore, age 92, passed away peacefully November 25, 2022. She was born November 22, 1930 in Nunda, New York to Miller and Marion Bennett. She married Maurice Lowell Moore, Jr. on December 17, 1949. Mary had a life-long love of music which began as a young girl. Throughout her life, she gave piano lessons, played organ and piano in church, and accompanied many community choral and theater groups in Nunda, New York as well as in Florida. James Rowland Burns, 93, of Port Charlotte died at home on August 10 2022 of natural causes. Jim was born in 1928 in Lewes DE to Samuel Rowland and Eleanor Bones. The first of three children; Mary Helen, Joseph and James. The family later moved to Boothwyn Pa. Jim enlisted is the US Army in 1946 and served in the Korean War. He was caught under enemy fire and badly wounded. He was taken by helicopter to a MASH unit, stabilized, and then sent on to Tokyo General Hospital. Ruby O'Barr, 95, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away July 30, 2022. She was born March 30, 1927 in Mooresville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Clarence F. LaFoy and Ann Spears LaFoy. Her husband, Clinton C. O'Barr predeceased her in 1985. They were the former owners of Charlotte Medical supply in Port Charlotte. She is survived by her 2 children daughter Sharon Hope Whittaker of Thomasville, Georgia and son Jon Christopher O'Barr of Port Charlotte, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ferdinand Julius (Fred) Kuss Jr, 94, of Port Charlotte, passed away peacefully in his home on May 3, 2022. He was born in Mpls, Minn. on 9/18/27 to FJ Kuss Sr. and Gertrude (Torgeson) Kuss. He earned a football scholarship to UF before enlisting in the Navy. He was a teacher/coach in Minn. for over 40 years before retiring to Florida with his wife Ruth.
