In 1973 his family moved to Five Hill Farm in the Lynnhaven community, and he graduated from First Colonial High School in the class of 1979. He was a member of the Lifeguard Patrol of Virginia Beach. He was a member of the Kings Grant Presbyterian church. After a short tenure at Wesleyan College, he attended the Maritime Academy of Cape Fear Community College Wilmington, NC, and later the Johnson Wales Culinary School. Jarrelyn Legg Pentz, 88, a former resident of Denton, MD, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021. Born in Stevensville, MD, and later moving with her family to Denton, MD, Judy graduated from Caroline High School, and received her B.S. degree from what was then Madison College in 1953. She taught business classes at Havre de Grace High School before marrying her high school sweetheart in 1954. After raising her family, Judy resumed teaching business classes, at Sts. Peter and Paul High School in Easton, MD. She and her husband retired in the mid 1980's and spent the winters at their home in Key Largo, FL, while the summers were spent enjoying their home on the Choptank River in Denton,...
